On June 4, IBM launched a new approach to storage giving you a reason to show clients how to transform IT for insight and efficiency. Clients are aware that Smarter Computing tackles the constraints of tremendous demands for service, inflexible infrastructures, flat budgets and incomplete, unreliable data. IBM`s new storage approach, giving IBM an opportunity to recast the industry agenda on storage, and aggressively position their storage offerings against the competition. Powerful, intuitive new solutions from Technical Computing and the IBM Platform Computing software family, bringing high performance computing (HPC) technology into mainstream business. New System Networking offerings to provide high-speed, virtualised and open server and storage connectivity. Four new System x servers designed to reduce complexity and round out IBM`s extensive x86 portfolio, recapping a May 14 announcement.
